Since a young age, Jake has been on the path to becoming a professional chef. Out of high school, he competed in a cooking school scholarship contest, and he placed tenth nationally. Over his career, he has worked in all facets of commercial food service, giving him a broad understanding of the industry. For the past five years, Jake has expanded his experience to the non-commercial side, working in senior care. Jake aspires to pass his knowledge of cooking along to future generations and teach and inspire kids to have a passion for food. Outside of work, Jake tends to his collection of cars.
